    Default Komo Router head adjustment

    Hello,

I want to know how to true up the head on a Komo VR 522 router. When I fly cut the table it is off and I need it to be within spec or look flat when fly cutting. I cannot find any info on how to do this?

    Thank you,
    Joe

There are typically (4) hex socket head cap screws that secure your spindle motor.

This is by no means a professional explanation but I have a cnc shop and 2 komo router.

get an indicator, supply a true surface (or use your tables surface)

    Insert indicator in spindle

Activate your spindle (lower to cutting position) similar to
    Tool touchoff

    Loosen screws.

Correct the motor using feeler shims for x axis

Move the spindle motor clockwise or counter clockwise for y axis

    Hope that helps!

Buy or make a head trimming guage. Search trimming CNc head and you will find videos on YouTube
