    Angry New drive for my old Gerber Sabre 408

    Hi guys!

    My old Gerber Sabre 408 needs a new spindle driver.
    Colombo 10 Hp with ATC.
    Signal from the duart card seems Ok (Nice looking 5V)
    When I try to do the warm upp command
    I get "I/O error" on the display pad.
    I Can run the spindle from the driver
    My guess is some kind of com problem on the analog input?

    Original Drive is IDM Controls inc P5 Series 18 years old!

    Can a Mittsubishi A800 communicate with my Gerber?
    Any Ideas on a better/ cheaper Drive?

    I have fairly god discount at Ahlsell.
