I'm getting frustrated reading about all the horror stories with Chinese CNC companies, but I can't afford $20k for something built in the US or Canada. especially when a lot of the components are probably sourced from China anyway.
What about Taiwan? They have been building woodworking machinery sold in North America for many years. I find it odd that the only thing I'm seeing on Taiwan Trade is either tiny desktop models or industrial giants.
Does anyone know of a Taiwan company that produces a quality CNC in the 1212 (4' x 4') or 1600 2' x 4' size range?
