    Hi Restos,

When I place the piece of NC-data you have posted into a file and try to open it in Mach3, it works perfectly..

I don't know if you have the button "units" in the settings screen with the "leds" metric and imperial (I don't have the basic Mach3 screen, but I think it is the screen you have attached to your post).

When I start Mach3 it runs in metric units, when I open the NC-file i've just made and run it, it switches into imperial-units automatically and goes to the coordinates: 2.8031, 6.5963 (this is in inches).

Is this shown correctly on your screen?
And what version of Mach3 do you have (which probably shouldn't matter)?

BTW. Are you going to make this piece from aluminium?

Does Mach3 switch off your spindle relais in the controller?

    If so:
Please check your G-code for any unwanted M5-commands (Stop spindle turning).

Maybe you haven't configured M3/M4 commands (spindle clockwise/counterclockwise) to the same pin in Mach3?

    Hi,

    No, this is correctly configured..

Have you had a look at the G-code?

BTW. You can switch the relay on/off via the Mach3 software manually.. Go to Diagnostics and find the button "spindle toggle", when you press this, the spindle should go on. Maybe you can see something else happen (which shouldn't).

    Bribis,

    These are my config screens.

BTW When I try to Calibrate Spindle my spindle stops after few seconds running...

Yesterday my machine and spindle works fine and I do not remember to change anything in configuration...

    Bribris,

I´ve tried with no nc file loaded at Mach3 and my spindle also stop after a few seconds running. I´ve tried with calibrate spindle panel. This is the reason why I think the issue is not for G-code.

Tomorrow I¨ll try with spindle toggle in diagnostics panel and let you know.

The WINPC-NC Economy software interprets G-Code and HPGL.

The machine arrived in a very solid wooden box and all parts are really very well made. i haven't found anything that is a problem yet. If anyone has any questions or would like me test some things just let me know.

Totally agree, I've never really used the software (other than at first startup when I received the machine). Mach3 is much more the software I can appreciate.

Hello all, i have a problem with my s 1000t, bought it from some one that was not using it anymore about a year ago. Took it and set it up on mach3 worked perfect. A couple of weeks ago the pc that is running the mill crashed, hard disk burned, so i bought a new hard disk set up win xp 32 bit again and it is not working any more. Ecp port in dos, all setting in mach3 made, the motors just make a sound when i try to move it. Bought a new pc with parallel port, set this one up does the same thing, some noises from the motors when i try to move the machine but no movement. Any thoughts on what might be wrong?

    Hi Alex,
Maybe you can post your ports and pins settings?

    Hello ports and pins are x3 2, y 5 4 ,z 7 6
Had the same setup before the pc burnt. I just think that when the hard disk fried on the pc it had to do something to the cnc controller. I was thinking of buying new drivers breakout board and power source to remace a new control box for it. I even opend thw controller box seems ok nothing burnt.
