cnc light machines router

I just picked up a light machines cnc router 1996 model I think.
It is enclosed in a wheel around cabinet, very nice.
I have my old windows 95 computer, what hardware am I going to
have to add, and what kind of software will I need?
The thing ran on g & m code, what will I need to get this thing
updated for newer hardware, & up to date cnc software?

there is a thread where someone modified the controller to run mach3.

there are other threads where the control card that must go into your computer is hugely expensive and some folks have tried mods to generic serial cards.

I just picked up mine so I am new to this model as are you but I retrofitted a pro light 1000 with geeko type drivers.





can you post a closeup of the router portion. I was curious as to what router was the original and I am missing a few pieces from that area.
