The tool change should be standard ISO programming that is for example
T1 M6 for tool 1 M6 to change the tool.
To try this out in MDI (manual mode) you select MDI mode
    and key in
T1 M6 and LF ( enter) and CYC start.
BUT you must press the cycle start key 4 times to action the command.
You can also try entering M12 which should rotate the tool changer to position 1 after a full rotaion, or M15 which will move it 1 position.
If you email me directly ( click on my name flinty above and send private email)( tell me what CNC machine you have) and you have a broadband connection ( for big file size).
I will email you copies of programs which have tool change in them as well as a lot of NUM information and I am sure we can get you going easily, I am also happy to give you a copy of my post processor which is written for NUM750F and Mastercam Version 9

    Default NUM post

As mentioned above previously, I have a full set of the works manuals for this machine that I prepared for the SOB alchemy who then did not buy them.
They are available for US$150.00 if you want them, because that is what it cost me to get them made.
Now regarding your problem, I assume you have a legal copy of the software, and if so your supplying dealer can give you a post.
I can obviously give you a Mastercam post which will run the machine perfectly, but it will not be understood by Alphacam.
So how to fix this dilema is either you get the manuals and develop your own post from the programming manual so that your software knows what detail to put in the post.
Or as said above go to Alphacam direct.
Or Buy a copy of Mastercam Mill and I will give you the post.
    regards
    chris f
