Lightbulb C11G Board Power Supply Questions + Mach 3

Hi! I am looking to upgrade my current CNC setup and hoping that someone more knowledgeable than myself can help answer a few of my questions below. I have tried to reach out to CNC4PC but their contact form is not working and their phone goes to voicemail.

    My setup:
+ Custom 4 axis CNC Machine
    + Huanyang 220V VFD + Spindle (2.2KW)
+ MACH3 software, running Windows 10 64 bit, connected to CNC via Parallel port and the UC100 USB motion controller
+ 6 Stepper motors with dedicated stepper drivers

    (1) I have a Huanyang VFD + Spindle, and based on hookup documents for the C11G I see that I will need both a 5V and 12V power supply in order to power the logical components of the board, and the VFD control. Could I purchase an RS-15-12 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/MEAN-WELL-R...53.m1438.l2649) and RS-15-5 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/5-VDC-3-Amp...53.m1438.l2649) power supplies to fill this requirement?

    (2) Based on what I read, I CANNOT have these power supplies grounded to the same place. If that is true, what should I ground these power supplies to, if not the ground wire that comes from the AC power supply cable?

    (3) Will the C11G board work with MACH3 via the UC100 USB motion controller (coming from Windows 10, 64 bit)? Do I need any additional drivers for Windows beyond those that came with the UC100?

Any help anyone can provide would be super appreciated!

    Answers to your questions:

1). You need 1.5Amps on the +5vdc. The +12vdc can be very small.
    2) Yes, you can connect both power supplies to the same ground, what you cannot do is connect the negatives of both power supplies together. The negative output of the power supply is isolated from the main ground.
    3) Yes, the C11G is ideal for use with the UC100.

Arturo, thank you! A few more follow up question:

    (1) Would it be safer for me to go with the 5V power supply from you (https://www.cnc4pc.com/5vdc-3-amp-15...er-supply.html) and the 12V (https://www.cnc4pc.com/12vdc-1-2-amp...er-supply.html) from you as well? Would those satisfy the 5V and 12V supply requirements?

    (2) To make sure I am understanding this correctly, I cannot connect the two negatives of the power supplies together on the output side of things. On the input side of things I have the typical Hot/Live, Neutral, and Ground coming from 120v, and those can be shared by the power supplies, correct?

    (3) Fantastic!

    Kirill,

    1) The ones you listed and the ones on our website are the same ones.
    2) Yes. Exactly as you are saying. Note that other higher-end breakout boards have a built-in DC-DC converter that makes it unnecessary to add an additional power supply. Like the C76, C82, C25XP, or C94.

Price for the power supply is very high, look here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3304...archweb201603_

Use Windows 7 32bit as operating system,
