Bad board or bad relay?
When you say FOR signal, are you referring to the output from the ESS?
Good morning,
I am hoping someone can help with this issue....
I have Mach 3 running through Ethernet Smooth Stepper - through C25 - and finally through C41 to operator my VFD.
The C25 and C41 are from CNC4PC - the C41 is a PWM to analog converter BOB.
Here is what works...
The PWM signal converts to 0-10V all the way to the VFD and it works good.
The FOR signal makes it to the C41 board's screw terminal and properly follows M03 and M05.
What doesn't work is the relay.
Even though the input signal is at the C41 board, the relay does not activate and therefore the spindle will not run.
I have tried moving the Mode jumper to US mode and to INT mode and nothing improves.
Any ideas what could be wrong?
Thanks,
Chris

Yes, that would be the output for spindle relay which comes from ESS --> C25 BOB --> C41 BOB.
