Thanks Rod, The Vectric products do look good - I just can't justify the price tag on them right now.
Newflavour,
Sorry I didn't answer your question.
I have been using Vectric products from early on and currently have Aspire.
I can't speak highly enough about the Vectric products which are first class and easy to use.
Mach3 runs the machine and I have invested a lot of time learning how to interface with it and make screens.

Think of a whole living room wall tiled with these checkered plates, with only a few randomly placed on the wall having the bubble tile.

Rod,
I love the build! I got some of the gravograph material and will be doing a control panel like yours. What bit/endmill do you use? Also, what depth and IPM do you use when cutting?
Thanks
Thanks
I used a 1mm two flute cutter DOC 0.3mm and feed 1200mm/min and plunge 300mm/min. Spindle speed 24,000 rpm. I probably upped the feed rate in Mach3 to twice that feed rate as that is how I operate. It makes sure I have a conservative feed rate when I hit the reset feedrate button to 100%.
I can remember cutting it twice to clean out the fluff from the edges.
Hope that helps.
