Default Hacking the Long Ranger III dust collector remote control

I hope this is the right place to share something like this.

I added M07/M09 to the post processor and used output 2 on the G540.

Now the dust collector can start and stop from the G-Code using the PSI Long Ranger III wireless remote control.

This can also be done very simply with a solid state relay.

I didn't have an easy way to run wiring across the shop to the dust collector. I mounted the Long Ranger remote control and the box with Arduino UNO on the computer stand next to the router that I have the controller on.

No wires. No walking. I still need to make a real cable to connect the remote to the Gecko G540 controller to replace the prototype.

The controller box in the picture is empty. The G540, smooth stepper and power supply are in a rats nest of wires up by the monitor.
