    So, have you managed to fix the 0-10V issue?

    Not yet. I am asking CNC Router Parts if I have the wrong output or if the board might be bad. Still waiting to hear back from them. I will let you know as soon as I hear from them.
    Thanks

    I see CNCRP suggest a base frequency of 100

    The Huanyang manual shows the jumper.

    So I checked the jumper and it was on 2 and 3. I moved it to 1 and 2, but it still is not controlling the speed. I think I should check the PD setting. Do you have a list of what they should be?

    Thanks

    You can't have a minimum of 0 the minimum for your spindle is 6,000 RPM

    What are your spindle spec's and the VFD you are using

    Not at all the pulley setting is just as important as anyother Mach3 setting

    Spindle spec's are 220v that is clear by the VFD spec's

    Is it water cooled or air cooled

    300Hz or 400Hz these are important to know for what your VFD Drive Parameters will be set to

    Sorry about that.
    The spindle is 400hz on 220 volts 8.5 amps
    Water cooled.

    Here are what your VFD Parameters should be set to

    Huanyang Mactec54
    2.2Kw 220v Water Cooled

    PD000=0 for Parameter unlock ( 1 ) for Parameter Lock

    PD001=0 (1 For Remote Control)

    PD002=0 ( 1 For 0-10v Terminal Control or Remote Trim Pot Control )
    ( J1 Also Needs to be set for Remote Terminal Control 1-2 jumper connection )

    PD003=400

    PD004=400

    PD005=400

    PD006=15

    PD007=20

    PD008=220 (Motor Rated Voltage )

    PD009=15

    PD010=8

    PD011=100 ( 100 Minimum Setting with Quality VFD, 120 is Safe)

    PD13= 08 is for Factory reset, Only use this to set VFD to Factory Default Settings

    PD014 Acceleration=10 ( Adjust to suit)

    PD015 Deceleration=10 (Adjust to suit) ( PD15 is ignored IF PD26=1 Then the Spindle will Coast to a Stop)

    PD023=0 ( Forward Run Only )

    PD041=8 ( Carrier Frequency up to 10 Max for these Spindle motors)

    PD120=120 ( Stall Prevention )

    PD141=220 ( Motor Rated Voltage )

    PD142=9 ( Motor Max Amps 2.2Kw Spindle 9 amp )

    PD143=2 ( Motor Number of Poles)

    PD144=3000 (Max Motor RPM) =3,000= (24,000)

    PD70=0 ( This may need to be set to 1 if Control Voltage is 0-5v )

    PD72=400

    PD73=100 ( 100 Minimum RPM Setting 120 is Safe )

    PD174=11 ( To Be Set to the VFD Drives Max Rated output Amps )

    I tried all these parameters and it is still not being able to control the spindle with Mach3

    What do you have for PD001 and PD002?
    Both should be set to 1.

    Its not that you try these parameters these are the parameters that you need to have set for your VFD and Spindle, this is the starting point

    If you have Mach3 correctly set and the PWM voltage is changing when you enter a different speed like M3S12000 in MDI this should give you around 5v if it does not then you have something wrong with your Mach3 setup or the Breakout Board

    CNCRP has an extensive section on setting up Mach3 for a Spindle, if your using their control panel. Even If not using their panel, you should still be able to gather the information you need from their Website. Have you read and downloaded that information?
