    Post Weeke optimat 145 ,NUM controller problems.

    Hi we have Weeke optimat 145 year 1998.It is the NUM 1020 controller that is having issues.The red def light illuminates as soon as the num starts up.This is what I see when I attach the display to the 37-pin connector:


    I understand that the problem is a memory checksum error, meaning that some data has been corrupted in the memory.Despite having a backup of every file that has to be loaded into the controller, I am unable to establish a connection from my computer to the controller.

    It has been 26 years, the controller might have reached the end of its life, better change a new controller.

    This is an easy fix, it looks like the battery from your battery-backed RAM on this CNC needs to be changed.
