    Hi there can anyone help me convert my pgm xilog drawings to dxf dont have access to xilog plus no more is there and other sofware i can use

    Hi ive tried all types of file conversion software and dont get no drawings from them i asked alphacam if there software was capable of it sent them a file and they sent a dxf drawing back but i nearly fell over when i asked how much alphacam was £4000????

    .pgm files are g-code, usually in a binary format. You'd usually use WinXiso to convert them to g-code text files. Then another converter to go from g-code to .dxf

    You'll never end up with the same drawing that you started with.

    Thanks i have winxiso which xilog uses when i open the file theres all of the text x and z positions etc but just really struggling to actually get a drawing back from them i understand that if i do that the drawing will probably want scaled or so when alphacam opened them the drawing were exactly as they were
