Busellato/Genesis Evolution help please!

We just bought a second-hand Busellato jet something running with Genesis Evolution. I design cut out panels using Google Sketchup, and we believe I can export a .dxf and import that into Genesis to create a .cnc, except it just throws out an error code an does nothing.

I downloaded CamBam as an interim programme and have exported the g-code from that but still Genesis does nothing....

Any advice? Bear in mind I'm not a programmer, nor cnc trained in any way (I just design things).

Hello, use a Busellato Optima with Genesis v7. Normally amount profiles from Autocad DXF without problems. If you want to send me the DXF files generated by Google to be able to analyze so that it can figure out where the problem lies. Hi,
the DXF-3D file is very complex and it is likely that your version of genesis is not able to convert it. I tried it with my version 7 and the result is this program cnc you send. In any case you have to simplify the design by removing all duplicates (overlapping lines) and then exploding the remaining before importing it into genesis.

Thanks for that. Our software must be too old as it wouldn't run your file either, just produced an image with lines all over it.

I have found a programme called CamBam to change the dxf and export to Genesis Evolution however Evolution doesn't seem able to read the start points we have specified.

Any ideas?

You can try Alphacam.This software can export directly to your Busellato from dxf and also solid model. If you will help with this let me know.

I have Genesis Evolution 6.4 and again lost another PC. It's getting harder and harder to find an old pc to run windows xp for this old software. Any chance someone can help with a newer version to at least run this on windows 7?
