Hi,
I have a few questions about CADMatic. As far as I know, if I want to send directly my cutting schemes to CADMatic version 3.0, I need to buy from Holzma a kind of buffer or protection software called Holzlink. The problem is that they charge a lot for it and I believe it is some kind of protection software that is not worth the price they charge. Does someone know how should I write my post processor and what extension the file should have, if I want to bypass CADMatic ? Does someone have an example ?
I know this thread is incredibly old, but i'm currently trying to figure out the same exact thing. Anyone out there have any suggestions? I can create the cutting schemes on the one PC, but can't seem to find something that lets me use their weird file extension
I'm having the same problem. I have opticoupe to generate optimised cut plans, I have CADmatic 4 , but Holzlink is required. Not sure it worth the price as other manufacturer (selco) can directly import.
I found this link that describe the .saw .ptx files: Holzma
but i don't have time and knowledge to write a PP ...

Latest info from holzma:
there are 2 solutions to convert schemes (in my case: coming from Opticoupe):
1- Holzlink: approx 1700€
2- CADLink: approx 1300€
The Astra R-Nesting software can do direct export to HOLZMA CadMatic4. Sample file attached. Extract this file from the ZIP archive and copy it to the folder: d:\Cadv40\Data\Runs
Additional Holzlink or Cadlink modules are NOT required.
hello,
reviving an old thread once again
I contacted Astra-R and they charge 700$ for the post processor alone! and you have to buy the software. It seems a bit pricey just to be able to convert a cutting plan to a format that CadMatic 4.0 can understand.
Is there a way to work around that? especially that there are android apps that can whip up an optimized cutting plan for a fraction of the price!
