Cincinnati Arrow error 9036 HELP!

Hi, How connection should open when cnc_com.exe is open on pc it just open to dos. Nothing can't wrote there. Cable is connected. And Control panel picture not continue anywhere. It leave searching for PLC program. Is some key what need push on control panel or what? Thanks for the good advice.

1) On the PC, start CNC_COM (refer to the "Arrow Serial Communications" procedure)

2) Enter the test mode on the FNC controller. (Press the reset button on the power supply module and then press and hold the Run/Test button until the M8 led goes out on the memory module)

3) On the FNC, select File Maintenance

4) Select Copy File

5) From file I:COMP.MC (the COMP.MC file must be in the same directory as the CNC_COM software on the pc)

6) Select To file: C: COMP.MC

7) Press the Data Entry key. The data should then start to transfer to the control.

8) When the FNC says "Done", press the back arrow key to return to the test mode main menu.

9) Press the reset button on the power supply module to reboot the control.

10) The new comp file is now loaded onto the control.

11) On the PC, press ALT and ESCAPE to exit CNC_COM

In your params file you have simulation mode selected and needs changing
like this it should be
G 7 'Global parameters
ARROW 'Identification
0.13 'Revision
2nd Feb 1996 'Description
0 'Language
0 'Mode (0 = normal, 1 = Simulation)
1 'Motherboard type

You should also have a main .cfg that needs changing the same

Hi, We are new with this machine. Machine not been in use long time. Memory card is empty. Need start from begin with this. I could find mentioned points 3 and 4 from FNC control panel. And this mentioned params file where that should be? Either main.cfg could find. Files what we have is download from this thread. Thanks for the good advice.

The files should be in the C drive.
You have a C and D drive. The only thing that should be in the D drive is main.SOC do not touch this file or drive as you will break the memory module.
Install the files into the C drive only.

What might be reason that error 9036 come still even files is upload to machine? Error come 5-6 times after start and need go forward after push some key one-by one and the end machine start.

Bonjour à tous.
Même soucis que certains ici avec une cincinnati arrow 500 avec commande CT.
Le logiciel cnc_com mis a disposition dans les messages précedant fonctionne t-il.?
Pour le câble, lequel faut il utiliser.? Un câble RS232 qu'il faut recâbler absolument.?
Une fois le câble connecté a la machine, il suffit juste via la commande ms dos d'envoyer les fichiers corrompus.?

j'ai pu finalement résoudre le problème pour la cincinnati arrow 500.
J'ai pu entrer dans le systeme d'exploitation de la machine via le bouton run/test sur la carte électronique dans l'armoire de la machine.
J'ai ensuite pu éditer le fichier qui était corrompu. Pour moi c'était le fichier main.plc à la ligne 3806.
J'ai changé le caractère et j'ai ensuite redemarré la machine.
Tout à bien fonctionné. Changement outil ok, rotation broche ok.

I was finally able to solve the problem for the cincinnati arrow 500.

I was then able to edit the file which was corrupt. For me it was the main.plc file at line 3806.
I changed the character and then restarted the machine.
Everything worked well. Tool change ok, spindle rotation ok.

Hello. I told you that I had succeeded in restarting the cnc machine. But now I have an alarm popping up. This is alarm 9182 which indicates:
error 9182: Z axis, quad encoder signal fault.
Have you had this alarm, and how to solve this problem?
Can this from Z axis drive or motor?

check all the connections that go to the spindle drive. There are some that are on a small metal serial connector and easily break.
