Default Looking for Sabre 1000 VFS5 TL file?

Looking for a known good spindle TL file for the 8k spindle in a sabre 1000.

New-to-me machine looks to have some funky/garbage values after a 3k mile road trip.

I've tried to hack together a working file from a few TL files I've found online and the existing values on the machine but haven't had luck with that.

Figured a known-good file would be a better place to start.

    Thank you!

See if this will help. The Dallas Realtime Chip held the User Settings and the VFS5 Drive Program. You may need to have this drive serviced
by someone like Kilroy of Fives-Hebron who has the correct files to load onto a new module after cleaning and servicing the drive.
    Replacing old capacitors, etc...

Thank you sir! that was some more good info on there.

I've combined that information in addition to the spindle addendum and have built a TL file. The spindle/vfs unit accepts the TL without error (after many attempts for different values.)

After successfully transmitting the TL file upon 'EN' command or 'enable' button in motionlink I receive an ERR 18 bad TL file.

It looks like most/all variables have bad values stored in the VFS5 unit. I'm able to load/change seemingly all of them but I clearly don't have all the config values. a `DUMP` returns that the unit is locked (as expected)

I have requests out to fives & Kilroy for load/service - waiting to hear back there.

Different than others where the values seem to not stay - once I set one of the parameters/variables they persist over power cycles and no power times (at least over the last week of debugging)

attached screenshot shows some of the values on the drive before changing them.

Attached Saber files, don't know what gear ration or Max RPM. The Rectangular block had the Tag for what was to be loaded.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, this is INCREDIBLY helpful!!!

I tried all kinds of ways back and forward with that info to get the spindle drive working but I'm still chasing seemingly bad values somewhere... That drive is off to Kilroy for them to take a look at it.

In the meantime I acquired another VFS5. Works PERFECTLY in every way... except - it's off ~20 degrees for tool change, no problem, easy fix...

Except it just won't connect in motionlink. same cable & computer as the other one that was communicating without issue. It's never detected with either speed option. Any troubleshooting steps to get a VFS5 to connect? Nothing stood out in the VFS5 manual for motionlink connection problems.

If SRAM random value - Init on programator SRAM DS1230Y-200 all bytes zero
    on address sram 5672h - value voltage (if 230V- E6h 00h)
    on address sram 56B9h - value RDRES (12 0Ch)
if loading tl voltage and RDRES not equal edit previos values - will be ERROR 18 “BAD TL”
then restore you tl ,var ,bds prog
