    Smile Cincinnati Hawk 150

I am starting to work with a cincinnati Hawk 150. This is a used machine and we don't have all the manuals for it. I was wondering if anyone could help me locate manuals for this machine. I will also need help with the renishaw tool setter. Just wondering what tool offset page a person uses for tool setup, and for working offsets. This machine has an Acramatic A2100 controller. Can a person use the g code canned cycles for threading ,rough turning and boring like on the fanuc controllers? How does one set up for tool change positions? I have run this controller on a Cincinnati Arrow 750 Machining center but not on the turning centers. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have been away from the trade for a few years so I'll need some help refreshing my memory. Thanks

Thanks for the info gwood. Looks like I will be the new owner of this machine in the new year. I have been running this machine part time for the last 3 years. It should have a few more good years of production left in it. Is there any way to tell how many hours this machine would have?

    Thanks Again

    Mike

Call in with the serial # off the back of the machine and we can tell you when the machine was ordered. There was never an hour meter in any of the Acramatic controls.

Hi, I recently import Concinnati hawk 200 Cnc lathe with fanuc 21it Control from uk. Machine had a issue of sram data. I put the data and machine is ready now. The only problem with the x axis, when i run the x axis, the reading is changing on the crt screen but mechanically doesnt move. Anyone help me in this regard? Thanks in advance.

Most obvious thing to check is whether motor is turning as commanded and if coupling is broken/missing. If the machine doesn't have scale feedback, it doesn't know if the axis is moving, only if the motor is.
