Default Issues with the COM and Startup diagnostics Acramatic 2100

    Hello,

I just brought used Cincinnati Arrow 500 with Acramatic 2100 but have the following issues:
    1. When I try to get in CNC Communications Setup to make the settings I get "Error in Get Facility =3B0004". However I have access in the menu but when I change something (bitrate ect.) and try to save I get "Error in Save Device Data =3D0001" and it wouldn't save.
    2. Also on startup diagnostics workstation processor and high density I/O fail anytime .

What can I do to fix these?
    Any help will be appreciated.

You may have a bad battery on the work station board and you may have lost the BIOS settings. Looks like you have more problems then communications . The 2 boards should not show a fault, check the RTC board battery but don't remove it.

Thank you for the reply. I think the power supply may be out (today I noticed that the fan is not rotating).
First I should replace it and then will write what is happening. What do you mean by checking the battery without removing it. How can I check it?

You can check it with a volt meter, when it is new it should be about 3.3 VDC. You can check it on the board DO NOT REMOVE IT FROM THE BOARD ! ! !
