    Hello,

    There is 3 methods (From easy to hard way ):

    A) Connect an old keyboard to the realtime card and boot the Acramatic. Normaly at boot (after 5 seconds) you must push the ESC or F1 key (This is for ignoring some missed bios parameters). If the Acramatic boot without alarm and you can use the machine then the bios parameters must be changed.

    Note 1: For all the next ways, you must remove the Realtime card from the Acramatic box.
    Note 2:For the next way, you must know what you do, put an electrostatic ring

    B) Enter to the bios of the real time and change the values of bios parameters to the good one:
    1- You must have an ISA VGA card and an old keyboard, also a AT power supply
    2- At boot just press the good key to enter to the bios (DEL i think, )
    3- Change the parameters of each page to the good one - Just reload the default parameters from bios page, and change the parameter: "HALT ON : No ERROR" - Normally it will work, if not i will send you pictures from a good BIOS.
    4- Save and exit

    Note 3: For expert- This method is the last that you can do, and normally you must know what you do!! put an electrostatic ring.
    C) If you want to reflash the Real time card:
    1- You must prepare a DOS boot floppy disk
    2- you must have an ISA VGA card and an old keyboard, also an AT power supply,
    3- you must also have a floppy drive connected to the real time card.
    4-The files is attached, you must put the extracted files on the floppy and run the *.BAT file from dos.

    After that you switch off the power from real time and you're ok.

    You can send the board to SIEMENS to get it re-flashed and a new battery.

    Hi,Seraum

    Thank you very much for your clear and straight procedure.

    I bought an old keyboard(5 pins) from internet, tried the methods A.
    OK, the Acramatic boot without alarm.

    Then I bought an ISA VGA card and a AT power supply, tried the methods B.
    OK, the Acramatic work now.

    Thank you very much. though the Acramatic occasionally maybe 1 or 2 hours will poweroff, I need to touch poweron again , I think I will fix it.

    Say again, Thank you very much.

    Hello,

    ONLY FOR 2379A02

    BE AWARE (SPECIAL CARD): Before you put an AT powersupply to THIS RT Card you must change some Pin options on the card.
    Not respecting this procedure will probably destroy the card.

    This is the procedure:
    - Take a picture of the RT card before doing anything on it, to have a backup PIN configuration.
    - Remove the JPP pin
    - Put a PIN between 2 and 3 on JP2
    - put the P8 and P9 powersupply cord on the RT CARD, the black cables must be in the middle
    - Put the VGA Card
    - Power on the power supply
    At this stage you must see the starting boot, just press the correct button to access to the bios settings.

    - Standard CMOS setup:
    * the primary master/slave and secondary master/slave must be = NONE
    * The drive A and B must be NONE
    * Hald on= All but Keyboard

    - Bios features setup:
    * virus warning disabled

    * From IRQ5 to 10= Legacy ISA
    * IRQ11 PCI/ISA PNP
    * From IRQ12 to IRQ15 LEGACY ISA
    * DMA0,1 and 3= PCI/ISA PNP
    * DMA5 and DMA6 Legacy...

    * PCI SLOT1 and 2 = Auto

    Integrated Peripherals
    * Onboard primary... disabled
    * Onboard Secondary diabled
    * IDE pref... enabled
    * IDE HDD... enabled

    * Onboard UART 1 = 3E8/IRQ4
    * Onboard UART 2 = 2E8/IRQ3
    * Onboard Uart2 mode: standard
    * onboard parall... disabled

    Save and exit, wait the bios to start with giving no error at boot. Now just poweroff the power supply. YOU MUST PUT THE PIN CONFIGURATION IN THE ORIGINAL STATE BEFORE CONNECTING THE RT BOARD TO ACRAMATIC. Not respecting this procedure will probably destroy the card.
