This is the cable connected to my cnc controller (coming from machine)
I have no idea how to find an other cnc controller for my machine.
its a 6090 from ten-high (chinese machine) 4 axis.
I would like an other one than the one they provide. does not support mach 4, broken twice in 2 year, cannot change spindle speed.... etc...
The big connector looks like the old parallel interface used on very old printers. My guess is it contains all the step and direction signals. Post a picture of the board it plugs into
The wide / flat connector of that cable is known as a "Centronics" plug/cable, and as cncman noted, is a parallel cable. Many Centronics cables have a 25 pin plug on the other end (even though the Centronics plug is 36 pins). You can find 25 pin parallel ports on older PCs ('used' Dells are a reasonable choice IMO). Very old Centronics cables also have a Centronics connector on the other end.
