I have a 5'x10' Chinese Router. I have a liquid cooled and also an air cooled 2.2KW Spindle as a spare. I want to upgrade to a ATC and I want BT30 taper and air cooled. (BT30 to share tooling with the Tormach) air cooling because sometimes my shop freezes.
I love buying on ebay because the sellers are really responsive and generally everything works out. The direct to Asia purchases I have done on alibaba etc. are always just a little off somehow.
Does anyone have a specific suggestion of a ATC they know and love? I saw the video from Fox3d on this forum but the Jianken that he loves is not BT30 and I don't know if I want to buy direct for $2K just makes me nervous. https://www.cnczone.com/forums/chine...67764-cnc.html
Any negative opinions of this one offered by Rattm motor? I have bought steppers from them and they showed up and were a good buy.
It looks like the rectangular housings have the air switching included? Has anyone wired one?
update spindle power ,check if update VFD ,
spindle voltage 220v 380v?
spindle diameter ? check if update spindle clamp.
spindle length ,have a little effect on Z axis working area,
what control system on old cnc ,if it support ATC.
