I reckon a good starting point would be about 2/3 - 3/4 of the new price of everything (including spare spindle and laptop). Depending on condition.
I have my eyes on a 3-year old well maintained X6-2200L USB router that is for sale locally. It comes with a brand new spare spindle, some other tools and all the needed software installed on a W7 notebook. I'm totally new regarding to CNC routers but to me this machine looks like a perfect start to step into the CNC router world. But what would be a resonable price for the machine as described?

I suppose both parties are happy, because I bought it, and collected it already. A one-way drive of 240 km's, but it still is much closer by than China. The X6 was included with all the standard tools and drills, a never used spare 2.2kw spindle and licensed versions of Mach3 and Vcarve desktop v8. Paid about half the price of a new X6 2200 without the extra's, if shipped and delivered to The Netherlands. The test run went OK, so I'm a happy first-time CNC router owner.
Sounds like you got a good deal, and the seller is happy. Nice one!
Well done....Have fun.
