Hi
Can anyone help here.....I have two broken core wires in my 6040 Spindle cable and need a new one, was thinking of doing it myself but have no idea what the connectors are called that attach to the spindle itself and the little one at the back of the controller. Either that or is there anywhere I can purchase a new one (wire and connectors)
Thanks for any help
Rich

Unsolder the connectors off the current cable, resolder new cable on to them. No need to replace connectors.

But to answer your question they usually use GX16 connectors.

Thanks, I'm just not the best at soldering but I can give it a go
@mattcnc123
I'm in the UK. Just no markings on the connectors. The GX16 as stated looks like the smaller of the two, just need to sort the larger
Get one of these, really good makes soldering really easy. Do these at about 320C.
Seriously you will probably have more difficulty tinning new connectors than you would just recycling the old ones.
