    Default UB1 help?

Hey guys. Just got done hooking up my new UC300eth-UB1 and I have nice smooth movement on all 3 axis. I'm just having trouble hooking up the spindle control. I can't get the spindle to turn on with the toggle on the MACH screen. As you can see in the picture i have my inputs from the invertor hooked up to DCM- AL and forward to AH. On the POT side I have ACN-Ground, AVI- AV1 and 10v to ACC. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Verify if there is voltage on the analog input of the VFD and verify if the voltage level on the start input of the VFD... measure...

    Is this a Huanyang?

You don't appear to have the relay connected, which is what starts and stops the spindle.

    FWD to CM2
    DCM to NO2

In Mach3, the M3 output should be Port 1 pin 14.

I'm on vacation, so there might be a slight delay of you purchase. But it shouldn't be too long, as we're probably just hanging around the house all day (on the lake )

Hey Gerry. Yes it is a Huanyang. I moved the forward and the DMC to where you said. Still no spindle. I currently have the ACM hook to ground. The AV1 hooked to AIN1 and the 10v hooked to VCC. in the upper right side of the board. Is that correct?

    Multimeter is your friend.
Measure out the signals and then you will see if it is an issue with the VFD or a software setting and you can go on from there.

This is how it should be wired.

    Huanyang > UB1
    +10 > AH1
    ACM > AL1
    VI > AO1

And make sure your PD001 and PD002 settings are correct.
If the VFD has a pot, there's a jumper that may need to be changed as well.

Ty Gerry. I was way off. Think you have me on the right track. Just have to figure the jumper thing out.

    I have +12 going to AH1
FV is the input for my VFD which is connected to A01

FC is the common ground for my VFD connected to AL1
The connections at k2 are good because the spindle with start/stop when it's supposed to but I have no speed control.
AO1 gives me the same voltage out as is put into AH1.

I had bad connections through my wiring harness. Problem solved with some new wires.
