Question Newbe wanting laser cutter to make coin dies

Please bare with me, I'm very new to this. I do have a carvey cnc that I use for small wooden plaques. I would like to be able to make coin dies and not sure if I could do it with laser or milling? would like input on this.
Is there anyone in the Show Low, Arizona area that also could help me with Mach and other stuff in person?
    Thanks,
    Don

You would do a lot better with a mill than a laser cutter. Lasers can cut and mark metals (if you get one designed for that) but they can't really sculpt it, like a coin die requires. One of the Taig mills we sell would probably work for what you're doing - and they're made in Arizona.
