New Omio Machines! Opinions?

Omio has updated their line of cncs, it appears the most significant change is the controller.

What does everyone think of the changes?

Is this new controller compatible with Fusion 360 cam g code? One can select mach3 in Fusion, not omio....

just for ppl searching for the same thing:

no, its not. they say its fanuc compatible, but thats also not the case, the fanuc postprocessor needs to be modified to work at all. and even then, the thing doesnt understand G28, nor some of the other g or m commands that are supposed to be supported.


i also found out that its a relabled DDSV1 from Digital DreamCNC

to find a manual. (not very helpful either) maybe someone will write a compatible postprocessor for fusion, but until then ill shelf that POS and go back to good old mach3

Please do yourself a favor and read the whole thread about OMIO.
You'll find all about the tolerances, about grounding the spindle being science fiction and about no real customer support.

Gosh a dis-satisfied customer new to the forum and rubbishing the Omio machine on several old threads he resurrected.
