    Default ball screw nut replacement

Hi guys, the ball screw nut on my X axis makes a little clicking noise. I think its due for replacement.
Anyone know what make/model ball screw nuts Tommy was using, or if these are details are visible on the nut itself?
I suspect its metric but not confirmed.

I've noticed a lot of Chinese sellers state only to use their nuts on their screws and don't recommend using others.
As long as the pitch is the same I can't see why it wouldn't work, but you may need to play with ball bearing size to suit.

It's been a few years since I looked, but EBay sellers used to supply ball bearings in micron increasments.

If there double nuts it shouldn't be to much of a problem.

Hi guys, I traded mail with Tommy. He said the ballscrew was 3/4" diameter and pitch of 0.5".
He mentioned the ball nut manufacturer was Lee Linear but didn't have part numbers.
Their website doesn't use the words "ball nut" anyplace, I'm speculating they're out of the ball screw business as my mill is from 2013.
I'm way out of my depths and just looking to find something that will be a drop in replacement for my existing ball nut that is making clicking noises.

I checked Lee Linear's website and there is no mention of the word "ball nut" anyplace.
Anyone know where I can find 3/4-0.5 ball nuts?

I found one on mcmaster-carr and it had backlash of 0.015" which makes it garbage for a CNC mill

I get the feeling I'm completely screwed and would be better off getting a 20mm ballscrew + ball nut combo and hoping my pulleys still fit ?

Is the clicking sound only criteria?
what about taking measurements: accuracy, repeatability ?

Going from memory here, X-axis had something like 0.007 backlash, Y and Z were around 0.002 or less.
I will double check the values this evening for X axis.
