After a year of testing motors, drives and planetary gearboxes, along with digitizing numerous adapter plates, GCnC Control and Centroid CNC have teamed up to offer kit components and complete systems to replace the aging and often unreliable USB based ShopBot controller. Basic packages with open loop steppers, closed loop steppers and upgraded models with ClearPath servos have been produced, tested and are now offered.
