I don't think there's any requirement for 3-phase electricity to run an induction furnace. You generally start with a DC power supply and invert it to get high-current low voltage AC. Your source might work if you can transform it to the right specs. You might need to change the frequency as well, depending on how much metal you plan to melt at a time.
