    Default Camworks TURN compensation issues

So here is my problem and it is not answered on the forum before.

For finish toolpaths if I choose program point: feature geometry it outputs the G code at the part contour and uses G41/G42 which works nice and I think is correct.

Problem is that the simulation is wrong and undercuts the part. Is this a bug?

I think it is because in milling when I set toolpath center: without compensation the toolpath is shown at part contour in Camworks but the simulation doesn`t undercut.

    Thanks for answering

Yes, it is a bug. It worked fine in version 2016 and previous, but they messed it up in version 2017. Still posted out OK, but simulation was wrong. Work around is making the insert radius zero. In version 2018, they made it worse. Not only was simulation wrong, but the code was off by the tool nose radius value. I called it in to customer support in 2017 and 2018, and finally they admitted the problem. They did issue a service pack where it returned as it was in 2017... simulation still wrong, but at least the code came out right. Waiting for a service pack in 2019 for this to be fixed, but not holding my breath. Camworks is historically good at adding cool new features, but bad at breaking things that were already working, and slow to make things right.
