Hi laurits,
You can control that on the Feature Option tab->Entry Points->"Check" Length and Angle, and make your desired adjustment.
Hope that helps.
Best regards,
Lars

Thank you very much
i will definitely use this option in a lot of cases... and I can also see that you can select an entity, and by that reference you can make a offset in the X/Y directions
thanks laurits
I Have been trying to locate entry point in an specific point in the irregular pocket (CAMWORKS) and have not been posible , i tried with the length & angel tab but it does not cover all the points.
Any help?
Have you tried making a sketch with your desired location? I usually make a circle sketch and then pick it for my location.
Yes. It works with Pocket Out as shown. One thing though. I found with my system (CAMWorks Solids 2012) that I will have to often pick off the part, delete that point, then pick the actual point. Repeat sometimes until it accepts the point. I make sure the point I want isn't highlighted before picking it again. I know. Weird. I'm sure I'm doing it wrong but it works and I haven't figured out a better way.

Just realized you were originally asking about Open Pocket. So I tried it too. Again I had to pick, delete, pick, repeat until it took the right one. It works.
Last one I promise: pocket in with open pocket
