I CUT AND PASTED THE HANDWHEEL CODE FROM THE MASTER MACRO FILE INTO A .cbk file I am coding for my mill. It worked fine for several days, then after adding some code to the IO file to read homing switch digital inputs and digital rotary knob inputs I started to get tis error when I activated the hand wheel button on the screen. This is in the first block of code for axis 1. If I delete this code I get the same error for the block down on the 2 axis. I can't find a list of error codes in my literature and am at a loss as to what this means.
The error pop up pane shows:
Fatal Error Number:0 Controller Shut Down in the blue bar at the top
Below that : HANDWHEEL 1;40000
Error:
0
0
OK BOX
Can someone help me with this. What do the 2 0's mean? What is Fatal Error 0?
Thanks Karl. I have gone back to Camsoft's original file and it still shows that error. There may be a keycode error that doesn't show on the screen. I edited one of my files with MSword and that was a nightmare. I finally found out that the single quote symbol was not the same keycode and crashed the file. Upon close inspection it even looks about one pixel different on my screen resolution. I have wasted too much time with spontaneously appearing errors in previous stock code. It is time to move on.
Thanks again.
