    Default First Test Indicator

    Hi,

I purchased my first test indicator and was wondering why the arrow isn't pointing straight up (refer to attachment)? I know you can move the face, but no matter what I do, if I move the measuring point through it's full range of motions, if I release it, the arrow always points to the same off centre location.

There is no specific reason. It's just been made this way, and it doesn't actually makes a difference since you can rotate the dial to zero.

    its scrap.
please send it to me so i can make sure its disposed of properly

actually it is offset just slightly in the unloaded state. So that when you actually load it against an article to interrogate, the pointer can be at 12:00.
    you buyin that?
