2001 Ezpath III SL accessory in enclosure near the spindle

I just picked up a 2001 ezpath 3 with 8 position toolpost. The 10k lb type. All seems to work ok except the op station monitor. I see there was something wired in and mounted to a plate at the left end of the machine inside the enclosure below the spindle. There are 3 phase power wires going to the area and 2 yellow sensors hanging there.. Anyone know what that option might have been? Maybe part of a bar feeder?
