ProtoTrak MX3, on a Bridgeport mill, no DNC key, need help, sinking fast…
Hello, I am wondering if I am wasting time and money on a trying to use a 1994ish Bridgeport Mill, with a Southwestern Industries ProtoTrak MX3 CNC system. I want to be able to use Fusion360 files to make parts on this machine. The problem is, I need a DNC key, which is no longer available for this MX3. The DNC key allows large files to be drip fed to accomplish the 3 axis milling. I am somewhat new to cnc, and am looking for any information that might help me accomplish my goal. I am a retired engineering technician, that is a hobby machinist spending time in my garage. Thank you for any feedback you may provide.
Regards,
Bob
