I have a old boss 5 converted to run on Windows XP with factory stepper motors and a pc-2-route model m2 board. Can I upgrade the stepper motors to something smoother without having to change a lot of parts?
Hi tmatt44 - I have a Bridgeport Series 1 with Boss 8 (DC Brush motors). The Boss 8 FMDC card has failed and I'm investigating an update. I've been in machine tool industry - control engineering and plan to upgrade my #V2E3 mill with a Galil motion card and open source CAM/User Interface. RU still looking for an upgrade package?
