Torq Cut 22 : It's about time this machine started working!
Finally have had time to get the old girl going!
Had to track down and fix a lot of issues starting with a non shifting transmission. Then problems with the A axis card and motherboard. turned out to be bad caps. For future reference when you see interference lines on the monitor that could be a result of bad caps on the motherboard. I replaced 4 swollen ones on the board and the monitor now gives a great picture and all the other little problems have gone away.
Lots of cleaning and repairs to the Z axis and tool changer and now most of that is wearing a new coat of paint and damn near puring
As a favor to me The previous owner came over and gave me a few lessons.. Of course the machine crashed 2 times ( thus the Reference to Miles in the Video) but It was not his fault and the crashes were minor. I tried running that text project I downloaded from here and we just had nothing but problems running it. So I stared a new project in cad and made a simple test piece so that I fully understood what was supposed to happen, every step of the way...
