There are a ton of manuals on the web site of Southwesternindustries.com who made that control. Try there.

Hello All,
I'm new to this site and enjoying all of the information that is available here. I have inherited a Bridgeport that is in very good shape that has a Proto Trak Plus hanging on the side. Everything on this machine is operational, but however I recieved no information on how to operate this proto trak. Does anyone have availabe a copy of the manuals that came with this Programer? If so any inforation is greatly accepted.
Mark

Southwesternindustries.com has printed manuals on Prototrak plus
1) Operating manual and programing at the machine
2) is on using CAD Cam programs and the Gcode the Protorak plus accepts.
a local vendor may want to sell you the manuals for $50 each. often Southwestindustries will mail them to you occasionally for free. Try sending a email.
But a local vendor or distributor for Southwestindustries can get repair parts and do calibration. I had a Trav A Dial scale replaced with a modern linear scale as one of the Trav A Dials scales was worn out.
