Default V30 rotary 4th axis drilling wont rotary..... lol

    Good morning All,

i have a part set up in my okuma MA650 with OSP200M control. the part is set up in a rotary 4th axis, with the rotational axis being parallel to x. i need to drill some holes about the outer diameter at misc degrees of seperation.

now, when i try to start a drilling operation in BobCAD, i follow all the steps from the tutorial videos (select cross drilling/select axis of rotation/ect), only geometry that lines up perfectly with my z axis is able to be selected, in this case, 2 out of the 80 holes that actually need drilled. what am i missing?

Think you should be selecting "Multiaxis Drilling" instead of the "Cross Drilling", seems to work here OK, see image

i had tried that last week and it didnt seem to work, must have been doing something different, seems to be working today....
i also had errors in my retraction setting that were making it act funny, had to change the rotational indexing axis from Z to X, and from plane to cylinder..

anyways, thank you for your reply, i should be good to go now!
