    WHAT'S NEW IN BOBCAM FOR SOLIDWORKS V7 SP1 (BUILD3408)

The first update for BobCAM for SolidWorks V7, build 3408, includes corrections in CAM,
Simulation, Posting, and the NC Editor.

    Corrections

    General

    - Corrected the default Side Allowance for the Pocket, Plunge Rough, Z Level Rough, and
Advanced Rough operations from 0.000, to 0.015 inches.

    - Corrected an issue which caused the speeds and feeds for Drill operations to revert to
default when the tool page was revisited.

    - Updated the Cut Pattern options in the Patterns page of the Flatlands operation. The
dialog was showing additional options of the Advanced Rough operation. The correct
options: Offset, Parallel, and Adaptive Roughing are now shown properly.

    - Updated the Pattern options in the Patterns page of the Pocket operation. The dialog
now has the correct default of Standard Pocket > Offset Pocket Out selected.

    - Updated the Links page to reflect all available options when the Advanced Pocket Pattern
was used in a Pocket Operation. Link options now show S-Link, and Full Retract. Between
    Groups options now show Retract.

    - Corrected an issue which caused the CAM Tree items to collapse when an index system
    was added.

    CAM

    Toolpath Editor

    - Corrected an issue with the Toolpath Editor which caused toolpath to be selected when it
moved through the pointer position during view changes.

    - Corrected an instance of the toolpath editor creating the opposing side of toolpath arc
when Convert Selected Toolpath to CAD Geometry was used.

    General

    - Corrected an issue which prevented the output feed to be adjusted when altered in the
Advanced Feedrates page of the Mill 3 Axis Pro and Lathe operations.

    - Corrected an issue which caused the Toolpath Statistics dialog to show speeds and feeds
in inch regardless of the units assigned to the file.

    Mill

    - Corrected an issue which caused the Standard Pocket Patterns to cut from the bottom up
when the feature was in a Machine Setup whose origin was below the Top of Stock.

    - Corrected an issue which prevented cylinders consisting of two faces from being selected
    as geometry for hole features.

    - Corrected an issue which caused incorrect toolpath when selecting a sketch for drill
points when the machine setup deviated from the World Coordinate System.

    - Corrected an issue which caused toolpath to remain when geometry was removed and
    the operation was recomputed.

    - Corrected an issue which caused the plunge and cutting feedrates to revert to default in a
    Drag Knife operation.

    - Corrected a toolpath calculation issue which caused an instance of toolpath moving
through the selected geometry when certain allowances and tolerances were applied to a
    Z Level Rough operation.

    - Corrected an issue which prevented toolpath creation when using the Horizontal
Extension option with particular geometries on a Pocket operation.

    - Corrected an issue which prevented a Project Curve feature from being selected as
geometry for a Mill 3 Axis Wireframe feature.

    Lathe

    - Corrected an issue which caused no toolpath to be generated when collision detection
with system compensation was used on a feature set to the Feature Type of Back Face.

    - Corrected an issue with the Trim to Stock option which prevented it from cutting all of
the selected area on a Lathe Groove feature set to the Feature Type of Front Face.

    - Corrected an issue which prevented the operation stock from being updated when a
change was made to the job stock. Users had to enter the machine setup and click OK for
    operation stock to update properly.

    - Corrected an issue which caused both of the Spindle Direction radio buttons to be cleared
on the Tap Tool page when reopening the Lathe Tap Hole Wizard.

    - Corrected an issue which prevented the machine setup location from being changed in a
    particular file.

    Simulation

    - Corrected an issue with the simulation showing an incorrect clearance move along the
tool axis after operations in an index system.

    Posting

    .BCPst

    - Corrected an issue which caused the spindle direction for all turning cycles to be reversed
when post question 1306. Reverse Tap Spindle Direction? was set to y.

    NC Editor

    - Corrected an issue which prevented the NC Editor from being launched through
BobCAM for SolidWorks unless Predator was installed.
