Extrude text to 3D surface

It's been a while since I used Bobart and I thought I had done it before, I know I can extrude text to a flat surface but for some reason not to a 3D surface.

If you are talking about projecting I think you have to Utilities/Explode

Text on sphere Extruded into sphere then used scaled up sphere and its surface to slice off text

Text on cylinder - Vectorize Text - then Project - Then Extrude

Did you extrude the text on the sphere using bobart, I see in the stock menu in bobart you can do it on a cylinder.

I can project the exploded text on to a sphere but can't figure out how to extrude it in bobart.

I did all of these in plain old solids I think Al did some video in Afterdark in Youtube on some text on objects in Bobart
