Have you tried using the "Utilities>Reorganise>Erase Doubles" facility ??

I have Bobart and followed the you tube tutorial by Depoalo ([url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NNZcNNw5RI) for importing vectors from a pdf file.
The lines came in fine and are clean. The issue is, it appears instead of one line there are 5 lines laid on top of each other. I have started selecting line by line and deleting the top 4 lines so I am left with one. But this is taking a long time for this specific drawing. Is there a faster way to remove these duplicate lines?

Couple things to try.
Closed shape? Try chain selecting a single entity. If you get a good chain, you can hide/layer/color it, the mass delete everything else. Chain selection = shift click
There is a command = cleanup and optimize/erase doubles. Under utilities.
This should work if they are actual duplicates. Sometimes though, what "appears" the same, are actually different in vectors.
In any case, selecting and managing "what to keep" instead of what to delete, in this case will be much faster.
Thanks for the guidance. Did not know about the "erase doubles" command. Seems to have worked on some but less than 20% of the drawing. Focusing on the "what to keep" is a good idea. That will help, but still rough. I wonder why it comes over like that?? Oh well. Thanks
Also remember to use cleanup/optimize when you first vectorize, this helps alot.
