I'm not running bobcad, but I am using Cabinet Vision, excalibur shop floor, Mach 1 and cadcode.

I was at the woodworking show in Anaheim yesterday - I didn't see a booth for BobCAD - maybe I didn't look hard enough? I did see CadCode, MasterCAM, Cabinet Vision, etc...

*I was, however, representing CNC Zone in my brand new shirt!!!

    Sorin,
I sent you 2 zillion spam e-mails just to make you mad at me so that you would go out and hire a row boat to come and punch me on the nose!

It was good - WAY too much to see in one day - especially if your boss has you attend a couple seminars. I got there early and "accidently" walked in with the maintenance people and checked the place out while they were still getting set up (just act like you belong there...) - that was kinda cool - some amazing machines...and no crowds.

They have the better part of 2 halls devoted to working machinery which is always better to watch than the guys trying to peddle hinges or door knobs. There's also a student exhibit that's worth taking a look at - some amazing pieces of work. All in all, it's a great show to check out if you can make it.

Sorrry about not responding to your emails...I just got back in town last week after 3 weeks of training for Bobcad. My email box was full to the max so I had my provider dump everything for me.. Hope everything is well with you and the family. Will drop you a private note this evening.

    Jen,

I would have loved to have spied your shirt! You're right, that show is great. I got 2 days in (Sat & Sun) and about wore my legs off, let alone the dehydration from all the salivating. It was great to see SO MANY CNC machines of all sizes, from footprints about the size of your desktop 'puter, to ones you'd never fit into a semi without first doing some major disassembly, complete with robotic arm reloading the table! I hear the show in Atlanta is even a third larger . . . . whew!

If you find a fork in the road, take it!

    Charles -

I was only able to make it to the show for one day (Thursday) and tried to get in as much as possible. It seems most people went on Saturday - it must have been a zoo! I need one of those robotic arms (for what, I don't know...just need one).
