Bad scale Promecam

Hello.
I have a Promecam STP-C pressbrake with a DBM-A control from 1984. One scale is bad and propably need to be replaced. The original is a Heidenhain LS513-scale. I have been in contact with Heidenhain and according to them there is no scale available that would work. The old one have a signal-period (dont know if its the right term) of 40µm but all the new ones have 20µm. Is it possible to convert the signal from 40µm to 20µm in a simple way? Any other ideas how I could fix the problem?

I'm not sure about yours, but we just replaced a discontinued scale on our promecam based 1997 Amada HFB. It was all plug and play. Mount holes all lines up perfect, cables plugged in, and readings fixed our origin issues(to reveal the next issue lol) Altparts.com is ran by a forum member named joeAmada best I have been able to tell. If they don't have it, I bet they can point you in the right direction. They were very helpful with my parts order, and Joe responded to my email with tech diagrams and suggestions to help troubleshoot my machine.

Thank you for the response. I have purchased a used scale on Ebay and will try that one first. If that turns out not to work I will check whit JoeAmada. At the moment the machine works so I will wait til next time the scale doesnt behave.
