Default Amada Coma 557 - Auto Index

    Good morning everyone,

We having been having some trouble with our Amada Coma 557 that we use to punch out various parts of Electrical Switchboards, this time it seems to be the Auto Index on our turret stations.

When we go to operate the machine and we home everything it seems to be happy and will let us run a program, but when we get to the auto index command and it punches the tool seems to be about 5 degrees out.

If anyone has some ideas on what could be the problem your help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks
    Justin

Today I have been over there and tried adjusting the C axis grid shift and this only adds to my problem if I try and adjust this too far the Interlock fault comes up. It almost seems mechanical as its such a big change.

Grid shift sets the origin. You can do an angle adjust using prm 67 for the origin station and 68 for the back station.
    Hope this helps,
    Tom
