    Hey,

You need to follow my instructions in this thread http://www.cnczone.com/forums/bencht...17765-cnc.html
    This post specifically http://www.cnczone.com/forums/bencht...ml#post1626224

Then buy one of these Upgrade USB 5 Axis CNC Breakout Board Interface Adapter for Stepper Motor Driver | eBay

For machine control software I use LinuxCNC and for drawing I use DeltaCAD and for Cam I use SheetCAM.

If either of you guys do not have the control boxes then you need to buy drives as well, but that information does not bear repeating here.

    Good Luck.

A few years ago I put the pages back up, but I think I forgot to tell anyone. Anyhow, you can see all the pages here: https://github.com/shaworth/Spectralight-CNC-Conversion, it was a fun project, but cnc controller boards are so much more affordable now that I wouldn't advise anyone actually follow these instructions. Unless of course, you really want to.

Wow, those are some small machines. Are you able to cut aluminum with them? I have a southy 9l and it does an acceptable job on light cuts. Forget about doing anything productive on it.

A lazy man does it twice.
