    Default Sherline 5400 / labvolt 5400 mach3 wiring

    Hi
    I have a labvolt 5400 (sherline 5400)

Im trying to retrofit by simply using a cheap mach3 bob and using existing electronics

The labvolt has a dpindle control board...Does anyone know the process to connect spindle control board to to mach3 bob?

Any tips and tricks? I'm getting ready to take a look at this, just picked up one at an auction.

    Hi
Assuming ur labvolt functions ok...i bypassed the pc board inside and used a cheap mach3 breakout board

    I kept all other electronics

There are lots of ways to retrofit...after 2 yrars of tinkering and once i found out it was very difficult and costly to find the orig proprietary software and retrofit it.
