I'd suggest forgetting about restoring the original controller on that machine; it was never very good anyway. Get a G-540 from Geckodrive and start fresh. You'll be able to run modern software and won't be stuck in DOS.

Whats issue with the wiring..?

Ive got a max nc 10 and i use vectric aspire to create toolpath and then just send to maxnc via dos .. works well for what i need and zero additional cost

I have the 15 but the wiring in the metal box was disassembled and now I'm trying to put it back together but I don't know what wire goes where, doe the inside of yours look similar?
