WOW! Where did you get the frame? It looks new.
Hello to all,
Want to share my story.
it started with Weiss WMD25V mill converrion, after I wanted more power and working area, so I build large metal monster. this one was not rigid enought to process Steel and machining Speed was to slow.
So I decide to buy Real machine frame:

Nice, that's a really good find.
I like the Robodrills, very versatile. Interesting how small that Z ball screw looks compared to the size of the head.

I'm 99% certain that the frame is not from a Robodrill. As far as I'm aware, Fanuc has never used BK style bearing blocks, they've always been mounted in a casting that the motor bolts to. And the rails have never been Hiwin, always THK or NSK.
Very interested to hear where it was bought, though.
Hello,
Sorry For late reply.
BK-BF blocks it is from me, Hiwin also my idea , Frame came with no linears and ballscrews. all other mountings my job.
I am very begginer in this job and I am sure that Parts i chose for this frame is not perfect, but I will share all info:
Linear motions:
for X and Y axis - Hiwin HG series 25mm. (original comes with NSK).
for Z axis - Hiwin RG series 30mm linear, this series of linear I have used first time and I can tell that it is much more rigid and curate.
Ballscrews:
China manucatured dual ball nut ballscerws, very cheap but looks like in future I will change it, No backlash but it is not accurate I need.
CNC system - Mach3 Board.
Axis electronics - Stepper motors and drivers:
X and Y - 110HS28 - 28 N.m (3,965 Oz-In) 2 Phase NEMA 42 Stepper Motor; 1A phase current
For Z - 110HS28 - 28 N.m (3,965 Oz-In) 2 Phase NEMA 42 Stepper Motor; 1A phase current
Drivers - Leadshine DM2282
Spindle motor - 3.5KW 3 phase motor 3000RPM controlled with inverter.
Spindle - China ATC BT30 Spindel,
Yes Frame is new. Unused.
this is how machine looks like now:
this is one of the first Part chained (B30 Tool holder):
I have Some problems ad question, I will write down here later .

Nice build! How did you acquire the frame? I'm curious if it is possible to consider the same build concept.
